Plan your visit

Here is your Sunday at Lighthouse Carleton, from arriving on campus to meeting us after service. We gather at 4:00 PM in Richcraft Hall 2200, doors open at 3:30, and you do not have to be a student to join us.

Come early and join us for Pre-Service. From 3:30 PM we take time to pray, connect and prepare for the service together. It is a great opportunity to meet a few people before we begin and settle in for Sunday.

Our Guest Services team will be around to welcome you, help you find your way and answer any questions you have.

Come early. Meet someone new. Pray with us. You belong here.

During the Service

At 4:00 PM we begin with live worship. Our hosts will welcome you, tell you a little more about our house and keep you connected to everything happening at Lighthouse Carleton.

From worship to the Word, our Sundays are centred on Jesus, community and growing together in God.

There is no pressure to have everything figured out before you walk through the doors. Whether it is your first time in church, your first time at Lighthouse or you are simply looking for a church to call home, come as you are.

03Let's connect

After the Service

Two people talking in the lecture-hall seats after the service, one in a checked blazer mid-sentence and the other listening.

Don't rush home, we would love to meet you. After service, join us at our Team Expo, where you can connect with existing Dream Team members, learn about the different teams that make Lighthouse Carleton happen and discover how you can get involved.

We will also have refreshments waiting for you, so grab something, meet a few people and hang out with us before you head home. Church is more than a service you attend. It is a house you can belong to.

If you can’t stay, fill out a Connect Card before you leave and someone from our team will reach out to you.

Frequent Questions

A few things that might help before your first Sunday.

Lighthouse Carleton is a mobile church on campus, which means our meeting room may change from time to time. Right now you can find us in Richcraft Hall, Room 2200, not the Steacie Building this semester. We will always keep this page updated with our current Sunday location, so check back before you visit. Doors open at 3:30 PM and service starts at 4:00 PM.

Carleton University offers paid visitor parking across campus. We recommend giving yourself a little extra time on your first visit to park and make your way to Richcraft Hall.

Absolutely. The O-Train Line 2 (Trillium Line) stops directly at Carleton Station, right on campus, and Carleton is also served by several OC Transpo bus routes. From Carleton Station, Richcraft Hall is just steps away.

Come anyway. If service has already started, our Guest Services team will help you find the room and get settled. We would rather have you arrive a little late than miss Sunday altogether.

Not at all. We meet right on the Carleton University campus and have a strong community of students and young adults, but you do not have to attend Carleton to join us. Whether you study at Carleton, attend another school or you are simply looking for a church community, there is room for you here.

Whatever you are comfortable in. There is no dress code, and you will see everything from hoodies and sneakers to Sunday fits. Come as you are.

Stay and meet us. After service, our Team Expo is an opportunity to meet members of our Dream Team, learn more about our house and discover ways to get involved. You can also fill out a Connect Card, and someone from our team will reach out to say hello and help you take your next step.
