LEAD PASTORS

DEJI and Bukky consider it a privilege to serve as Pastors at Lighthouse. They are uniquely gifted to connect with people from all walks of life, teach God’s word with simplicity and inspire hope. They are passionate about transformation and life change and rely on God to do this work in the lives of people they minister to. Most of their time is spent parenting their two children, serving in ministry and juggling the demands of thriving careers. When not doing any of the above, they will be found travelling, watching a movie, or sports, either together or with family.

EXECUTIVE PASTOR

Caleb joined Lighthouse in 2017 and serves as the Executive Pastor, providing leadership and strategic oversight for the church's daily operations and ensuring alignment with its mission and vision. To him, Lighthouse is home for many people, offering authenticity and community. Caleb works as a Lead Front-End Engineer with a background in Computer Science & Design. He is passionate about sports, making music, and creating art. He enjoys teaching others and learning new skills in his spare time. As a consultant, Caleb also provides software solutions to entrepreneurs and churches!

CAMPUS PASTORS

The Carleton Campus is led by Olumide and Brandy. A youthful couple with a heart for young people. They are fun loving, bubbly and very personable people. Their aim is to encourage the next generation to pursue a genuine relationship with God and be the LIGHT. Outside ministry, Brandy is a Social Media Creator who loves sharing lifestyle content. Olumide on the other hand is a huge football lover and the biggest Liverpool fan.

PASTORAL CARE

Tobi is a Business Analyst in Real Estate Management and the owner of a Recruitment Agency serving the Long-Term Care and Retirement sector across Canada. A member of Lighthouse since 2018, he leads our teaching team ministry, appreciating the church's culture of excellence and love. Tobi, married to Abimbola, is blessed with two kids. He particularly values Pastors DEJI and Bukky as a blessing to the city of Ottawa.

PASTORAL CARE

Helen is a medical doctor, presently specializing in Psychiatry. She joined the Lighthouse family in 2018 and serves on the leadership, teaching, and worship team, stewarding a worship culture and providing leadership. She loves that we are a tightly knit family; some of her life-long friendships have been made at Lighthouse! She is lover of music, food, poetry, and psychological thriller movies.

PASTORAL CARE

Boye joined the Lighthouse family in December 2018 and has a passion for equipping people for generational impact. He truly appreciates the authenticity of Lighthouse and our deep commitment to the city. Boye works within the Professional Services industry, and outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family of 4 and indulging in his love for sports.

PASTORAL CARE

Tola has been a member of Lighthouse since October 2017 and has a passion for mental health & wellness. She serves in various people facing roles at Lighthouse and strives to embody our value statement “People are our Heart”. She admires the care and respect the people of our house have for one another. Most of all, she loves how Lighthouse encourages not doing life alone and how that is reflected in the feeling of community and support. Tola loves all things organization, cafes, and baking.

WORSHIP

Toju is our co-lead of our Worship Team. Along with her other co-lead, she serves to create a culture of worship and bring the Lighthouse Church experience to our Ottawa campuses. Toju is a Real Estate agent in the Greater Ottawa area. She has been a member of Lighthouse since October 2017 and is super passionate about speaking to people about God and sharing the Gospel, especially to those who don’t know Him. Toju loves swimming and interior design. She takes delight in helping people decorate their homes and in her passtime, loves reading books and writing poems.

MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS

Christabel leads our Media and Communications teams that connect people to the heart of church. She has been a member of Lighthouse since 2017 and loves the culture of family that we share and our dedication to fulfilling our core values to serve God and His people. Christabel works as an Events Coordinator in the public policy sector and in her spare time, enjoys crafting and gift-making. She is a lover of all things pink, flowers and lifestyle!

PROTOCOL & MERCH

Ayomide became a member of the Lighthouse family back in 2017, taking on the role of leading our exceptional Merch & Protocol team. With an incredible knack for creative expression, Ayomide consistently brings us unique apparel that truly stands out. What Ayomide cherishes most about being a part of Lighthouse is the profound sense of family and the joy of sharing life's journey together. Lighthouse has provided Ayomide with the perfect environment to thrive both personally and spiritually. Alongside his role as a Personal Banker at BMO, Ayomide also runs a personal training & photography business. When he's not immersed in his professional endeavors, Ayomide spends his time listening to music, watching movies and collaborating within the fashion industry.

SOUND

Brian has been part of the Lighthouse family since 2017 and currently leads our Sound Production team. He is dedicated to seeing our members do life together as a community. Brian works as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach and runs a local fitness Bootcamp in the Ottawa region. He promotes balanced living and is all about leading a healthy lifestyle. He loves to cook and spends his time watching documentaries!

KIDS MINISTRY

Kunmi joined Lighthouse Church in 2017 and quickly found a family within its warm and welcoming community. She is passionate about the culture and familial bond shared by the church, which has become a source of strength and joy for her. As the Lead for the Kids' Ministry, Kunmi is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth of the younger generation and helping them develop a strong foundation in their faith. Outside of her role at Lighthouse, Kunmi works in the healthcare industry. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, watching movies, and exploring different kinds of food, always eager to experience something new and exciting.

CONNECT GROUPS

Jamilla has been a member of Lighthouse Church since March 2019. She co-leads the Worship Team and oversees the Connect Groups Ministry. Jamilla is deeply committed to helping others, whether it’s guiding them toward career success or encouraging them to live with purpose. She passionately embraces the church's value, "Excellence is our aspiration," and finds immense joy in the strong sense of community at Lighthouse, championing the maxim, "We don’t do life alone." Jamilla is a Transportation and Data Engineer professionally. As a skilled bass player, she loves using music and other forms of creative expression to share the gospel and inspire people.
